Worcester-based Family Law Firm Schwartz & Plante Announce Expansion of Staff
Worcester, MA – January 1, 2020 – Schwartz & Plante, Worcester’s leading domestic relations and family law firm, is pleased to announce it has added two new, full-time staff members to the firm located at 300 Main Street, Worcester, MA.
Attorney Marisa Higgins Joins the Staff
Effective immediately, experienced domestic relations practitioner Marisa W. Higgins, has joined the firm. Ms. Higgins’ practice areas include divorce, domestic relations, custody, child support and spousal support. In addition her experience reaches into real estate and business valuation, paternity, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, modification of prior judgments, as well as many other family law issues. Additionally, Attorney Higgins handles Guardianships, Conservatorships, and Special Needs Planning and Litigation for disabled adults and children.
Attorney Higgins joins Schwartz & Plante after having been an officer at FletcherTilton, PC. She received her bachelor’s degree from Holy Cross and her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. She is an active member in the Worcester County Bar Association, and has been named a Rising Star by both Law & Politics and Boston magazines. She is also a recipient of Worcester Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” award.
Also joining the firm is Paralegal Dianne Chester. Ms. Chester joins the staff after working at Markun Zusman Freniere & Compton, LLP. In this role Ms. Chester will work closely with the firm’s partners and clients assisting both parties throughout the entirety of a case. She will prepare documents and maintaining case information along the way.
